CORRENG Consulting Service Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Corrosion Service Company Limited, provides consulting engineering services to the public and industry.
CORRENG was founded in 1990 to bring together a team of highly specialized individuals in the fields of electrical, chemical, and materials engineering, to provide the expertise required to investigate corrosion problems and recommend reliable, safe, and cost-effective solutions.
In addition to Canada and the US, CORRENG has been active with projects in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, as well as, Central and South America.
CORRENG can access over 700 man-years of corrosion control experience gained in the 55+ years of operation of Corrosion Service, and is unique in that it can offer demonstrable expertise in all three methods of applying electrochemical corrosion protection namely cathodic protection, anodic protection, and potential adjustment protection (PAP). Since 1950, our professionals have used these techniques, and a variety of others, to establish corrosion control programs for our clients.
As a result of this unparalleled expertise, our personnel are much sought after as instructors of accredited corrosion courses, and as expert witnesses in legal matters. Furthermore, our experience in the field of corrosion and its control has fostered a problem solving proficiency in other fields, such as the grounding of electrical systems and the mitigation of induced AC voltages on pipelines. |
