AC Coupon for Permanent Burial.

The ACC3 AC Coupon is designed to help pipeline operators assess AC corrosion and shock hazards on buried pipelines exposed to induced AC voltage from nearby high-voltage power lines. Developed by Corrosion Service based on the latest research, the ACC3 provides more accurate monitoring of AC corrosion risk using customizable coating thicknesses and simulated coating holidays. Suitable for new and existing pipelines, it supports assessments based on NACE SP21424-2018 and SP0177-2019 criteria and helps operators avoid unnecessary AC mitigation while remaining sensitive to high-risk conditions.

  • Cable colours: Green or black (black for slug coupon use)
