C.P. Sentinel “Aqua-Line” Series Cathodic Protection Rectifier
SKU: IRTCPSENTAQA
An air-cooled rectifier designed for water and wastewater applications requiring precise, stable IR-drop-free cathodic protection control.
The C.P. Sentinel Aqua-Line Air Series rectifier was developed specifically for the water and wastewater market and designed to meet the requirements of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) Standard D104-97. Using the Sentry controller, it automatically adjusts DC output to maintain the operator-selected structure-to-reference electrode potential, with additional automatic current and voltage control modes. Its UV-stabilized fiberglass-reinforced polyester (FRP) enclosure, touch-safe instrument panel and loss-of-reference shutdown feature support reliable operation and operator safety.

Key Benefits
- Precise potential control: Maintains the selected IR-drop-free structure-to-reference electrode potential within ±5 mV of the set point.
- Automatic output adjustment: Provides automatic potential, current and voltage control, with seamless transitions between operating modes.
- Protection against excessive output: The loss-of-reference shutdown feature turns off DC output if the reference electrode connection or electrode fails, helping prevent excessive cathodic protection levels that can cause coating failure.
- Enhanced operator safety: A touch-safe hinged instrument panel separates the operator from live electrical components.
- Protection in outdoor environments: The UV-stabilized FRP enclosure has a Type 4X rating, with high-energy AC input and DC output surge/lightning protection included as standard.
