Prefabricated railbonds are the most economical choice for minimizing the time taken to fit bonds, for example, in the installation of track circuits. Bright-Bond railbonds are made to a predetermined length and supplied ready for use from the factory.
Bright-Bond pin-brazed connections have a very low transition resistance which does not deteriorate with time, and can handle amperages above the capacity of the cable. Vibration from the rail does not affect the performance of the bond.
